Toronto Theatre Critic Award Winners

Soulpepper hit it big, winning Best Production of a Play for Angels in America, with DAMIEN ATKINS winning Best Actor, and NANCY PALK winning Best Supporting Actress for their respective roles in the production.

CARLY STREET was the winner of Best Actress in a Play for the role of Vanda in Venus in Fur, and IAN D. CLARK won Best Actor for his performance in Cock.

The TTCA’s were established in 2011 to honour the best in Toronto theatre, as determined by the reviewers of Toronto’s daily and weekly publications. This year, they were decided upon by critics representing The Globe and Mail (J. Kelly Nestruck), The Grid (Martin Morrow), The National Post (Robert Cushman), NOW Magazine (Glenn Sumi) and The Toronto Star (Richard Ouzounian).
